*we are in the works of getting bridge permit ( no small task in this city )
*reception booked The House on Bayou Road
*rehearsal booked (backyard Daniel Corsino/nice guy i work with He has a house in the heart of the garden district. We will be using his courtyard and last room of his house that over looks the courtyard
*Pierre Pichon & Raphael Bas will be playing at the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony on the bridge 2 frenchie gyspy jazz guitarists neither were shirtless wearing vests when we saw them at bacchanal
*Boucherie will be catering the rehearsal dinner -- serving
cuban style pork roast
banana leaf steamed mahi mahi
corn and advocado fritters
yellow rice
black beans with guajillo peppers
pan fried green plantains (tostones)
cinnamon and coriander glazed carrots
yum
Martins -- will be catering the reception
menu to be decided
*Hotel Blocks -- at Dauphine Orleans, International House, Chateau Bourbon
*Band for reception will either be T Sale or Pine Leaf Boys
ALSO WE ARE REGISTERED AT AMAZON.COM...
ITS totally the easiest thing for us to do bc we can register for anything from any store so we aren't limited to just 2 places..
so
we are only registered at amazon.com and shearwater pottery (228-875-7320) in ocean springs
left to do...
*Mainly i have to design the invitations
*and figure out who will perform the ceremony
*and what we want the ceremony to include?
*Groomsmen are wearing navy suits but shirt color and ties and pocket squares? not sure
*maids have color of dress but may also want people to wear little flower poofs in their hair
not sure?
*need to decide on actual color pallette and table set ups/decor for wedding , flowers etc.
*need to design wedding programs
*decide on guestbook.. the photo guest book may have been overdone?
considering asking tom to make us a bench and have people sign the natural wood bench then laquer it afterward?
*and book the chair rentals etc.
